Healthcare

Healthcare is a right according to our constitution. it is not a privilege. Dr. St Juste’s plan will make this a reality. In Haiti Now, the Haitian health care system does not work and quasi inexistent. Dr, St Juste also believes that healthcare should be a universal service across the country. As president, he will present a plan to build hospitals and health clinics and to restore existing centers throughout the country in order to provide all medically necessary services including a comprehensive maternal child care program to dramatically reduce deaths among women and infants, especially in rural areas where the mortality rate is astronomical, due to lack of sanitary resources and qualified care.

Such a meaningful rural health care reform that is central to the eradication of popular diseases will be achieved by increasing the healthcare workforce with medical residency graduates in the rural areas coupled with an educational program designed to teach prevention and to induce a new understanding towards birth control.
